Borrowing the term “Embodied Intelligence” from computer science, we indicate the importance of sensing in an electronic system’s ability to perceive its environment and adapt to it intelligently. We are building a new class of electronic sensors and sensor platforms empowered by artificial intelligent agents which are embedded in co-designed hardware. These neuromorphic agents are distributed throughout the sensing platforms and adjust their neural networks to respond to feedback from their bodies (embedded electronic sensors) and surroundings in order to adapt and respond to new environments. We are learners, collaborators and innovators. We are not afraid to question, dream big, work smart and take risks. We respect new ideas, accept critique and are uncompromising in quality and ethics.
